With Apple pushing out the fourth beta of iOS 6 to developers yesterday, the new iPhone probably ships with the next version iOS 6 pre-installed on it, According to the past, Apple will more than likely launch the public iOS 6 together with the new iPhone. Of cause, iOS 6 will be more features and also can be upgraded to existing iPhone 4 & 4s!
Due to the competition from current smartphones that offer larger screen, there is always rumor that new iPhone will features a larger screen but remain the physical size of current iPhone and that the next release will boast a 640 x 1136 resolution display thanks to a larger vertical dimension. Thanks to some clever trickery with the iOS simulator within Apple’s Xcode development environment, it has been proven that Apple has been testing out their software with larger display devices.
While the simulator running on iOS 6 is aware of taller displays, and scales perfectly only to 640 x 1136, this is not proof that Apple will go with this resolution and screen size. Apple prototypes multiple next-generation devices, components, and software, so until Apple unveils the new iPhone next month, nothing is confirmed. However, the sources have proof that the next iOS is definitely aware and supportive of the rumored, taller screen.
